Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has been the recipient of numerous prizes which include a Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also was awarded two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honoured with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara was first recognized as an actress in 1974 as a member of The Second City in Toronto. Along with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the principal cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara received critical acclaim for her comedic writing and acting skills which earned her an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for the Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was part of the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
